9,000 child workers return to school

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) began yesterday the implementation of a four-year project aimed at providing free education to over 9,000 child workers in the country.

NBI agents intercept suspected human trafficker; rescue seven, mostly minors

AT least seven persons, most of them minors, were rescued by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) from an alleged human-trafficking syndicate in an operation in North Harbor, Manila.
